OK, so my computer started having problems, and I had to spend some time reorganizing, scanning, and cleaning up my computer.  The reason this is relevant is that I found some of my older e-books by authors that I used to read and love.  I decided to go searching and see what they have new out there.  First one up is Sierra Cartwright and her recent release Three-Way Tie.

I loved this story!  Loved, loved, loved it.  I wanted to be in this book.  I wanted to experience everything Lindsey did.  I wondered if Ms Cartwright had reached into my head, pulled out a few of my favorite fantasies and masterfully threaded them together into a fantastically hot story.

Then I got to the final chapter, and well, it was a bit of a letdown.  After this great story that let me progress with the feelings of the characters, the ending felt like a rushed afterthought.   There were some threads I would have liked more details on.  I was just left wanting MORE overall.

I believe this book was written for the Subspace anthology which does explain the need for keeping the book to a set length.  I just wish that it could have been expanded on a bit when released on its own.  The book, even with the rushed ending, is very good.  I still recommend reading it.  Just be prepared.

I have to stay, for a quick, sweet read, this was entirely too sexy for its own good. I was very tempted to drop it onto the erotica site because of the hotness factor this book had. Alas, it has a happy ending and a very to the point erotic romance storyline. With all that being said, I enjoyed it. I am very much a sucker for superheroes. I am a nerd, a fan, and when you add sex into my ultimate nerd fantasy, I am a goner. No matter how sweet and happy you make the ending. I was in love with this story from the moment I started reading, and it was a group of super heroes playing poker (you have to wonder if this is fair for any of them.) But somehow it all worked. The characters were clever and well developed, I didn’t get the sense that any of them were ringing to cookie cutter. I really liked the heroine; she was smart and totally hot. She was the ‘ugly pretty girl’ I like to call them. She is totally hot without really knowing it. She wasn’t the stereo typical skinny hottie that is in most books. She noted her extra weight to her love of food, and yet the handsome hero loves her all the more. You got to love a woman with curves! I know I do.

It was a very quick read, with an easy going storyline, with not too much action. But the author wrote the characters just too darned likable! Would I have liked more superhero play? Yes, I would have. Only because those are the best parts, it brings out the heroes vulnerability and you sometimes need that action sequence to show that even a hero can be taken down and beat. I think the author was going more for a behind the scenes vantage; a day in the life, if you will. There was a rescue, and of course that lead to outrageously hot kinky sex. Could we really ask for anything more? Lynn is not on my author watch list, can’t wait for another book!

Ok, I want Mephisto to Master me. I don’t have any desire to be a pleasure slave, but he makes it look so damned good!

Club Mephisto will test your limits. It will bring you down; make you take a breath, and just when you think some flowers and roses are coming. BAM! There is a harsh punishment scene on the cusp of an orgasm that makes you scream at the book and beg for more all at once. This is the story of Molly, a very well educated woman that met a man in a BDSM, who later became her Master and husband. Molly, from what I can tell, lived a life of order and control. You would have to in order to gain a degree in college. She has taken to her role of pleasure slave easily it would seem. Longing to please her Master in any way that he deems fit.

HOT! So, taboo and wicked. This was a book about Total Power Exchange. I think, lately, with the whole boom in BDSM fanatics, people don’t honestly understand what Total Power Exchange is. It is not “We go in the bedroom and you top me for an hour, and then we are good.” No, if you are unclear on what a TPE is, then read this book. It is harsh, it is intense, and it will tangle your insides and make no apologies for it. When Molly’s husband lets her know he will be gone for a week on business, she is upset; only to find out that she will be, being cared for by club owner, Mephisto, an enigma to most of the club patrons. Molly even worked under him for a time, and still knows nothing about him. Just that no one owns Mephisto and Mephisto truly owns no one himself; the ultimate Master and trainer.

Molly is a pampered pleasure slave, her husband loves her and rightly so he married her. Mephisto is about to show her that she has been taking her pampered life for granted, and shows her the true meaning of being a slave. The story ripped at my heart and I really sympathized with Molly. Her experiences have only been with Clayton, her husband. And Mephisto owns her body and her soul by the end. He isn’t totally brutal, he has heart, and softness that comes out at times when he takes her places she hasn’t been in awhile. I have a few personal issues, but when I pushed them aside I could totally enjoy the book. It is difficult for me to understand why a husband would allow his wife to be humped by other men (There is an orgy scene at the club when she is owned by Mephisto.) And one after another she is filled and drilled. It was a hard concept for me to truly understand, but it didn’t deflect my enjoyment.

By the end of the story I was totally in love with Mephisto and Molly, and wanted inside Mephisto’s head so bad I wanted to scream! This is an intense, BDSM erotic novel that tests the very limits of the mind and soul. Would you go that far for ultimate pleasure? I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes BDSM, anyone that likes limits pushed, and darker BDSM literature. I honestly believe that Annabel rivals Anne Rice and her Sleeping Beauty books in her elegance in writing!

I saw this book offered on Netgalley, and I just had to grab it. I know that Carina has a very small selection of BDSM books, and when I see BDSM I kinda of snatch without really thinking about it. I am going to do my best with this review, I have nothing against this author or the actual book for giving it a 3.5 rating. I think if I went into it expecting something totally different, I would have savored the story a lot more and wouldn’t have been disappointed by the end.

First, this story is a fantastic love story. Callie is a very strong writer with a fantastic voice. She weaves a romantic tale of personal demons, and how one can battle through them to not lose out on something great in your life. My issue more comes from what the story said it was about and how it was labeled genre wise.

I am not sure this book should be in the BDSM section. Yes, it has some very light, and I mean very light D/s elements. The heroine is being told by the hero to put her arms over her head and keep them there, pretty much the beginning stages of a D/s relationship; with the hero having random thoughts of tying up and dominating the heroine. Ok, tease me once, and you have a great tension build. Tease me twice and not deliver still and I start to get annoyed. Tease me a third time with bondage and submission, and I am just going to be irritated; which, ultimately, that is how I finished this book. It was like coming so close to that orgasm, it is there, just resting, waiting for a really good spanking—that never comes. The man comes before you can have your relief and you never find yours. It was like vanilla sex with the promise of something much more, and it never happening. The story is being sold in the BDSM of Carina, and marked that he is a sexual dominant. I got that, but I was never shown that.

At the end of the day it is a very sexual, erotic romance novel with a HEA, and it made me go “Oh, well, that’s not what I grabbed.”

I may sound harsh in my judgments. I know that a lot of readers will LOVE this story. It is sweet, sexy, the sex scenes are hot, the male is very Alpha and he does very much deliver. For me, I was sold something different than what I read. That is my main issue.

That being said, I do recommend this book. Readers of sugar kink with love this taboo little tail. It will leave you guessing till the end and will deliver for all you fans of a HEA!

Olivia has become an instant buy or review grab author for me. Her writing is effortless, and she is able to tell an incredible story in a very small amount of words. This story is not different. The 1NightStand series books are like fine desserts. But you either grab a winner, or you grab an, “Aw, that was cute.” This was impressed me. It was fresh, different, and made me want to read more about Sierra and Daniel. You are taken on a sweet journey in this story; two characters, both that have some sort of tragic background that they have had to overcome. I am convinced Madame Eve is like Aphrodite at this point. How could she not be, she delivers hot sex and perfect matches. Well, I think Olivia most of all delivers hot sex in a very sweet package.

From beginning to end, I couldn’t put the story down. I flicked it open, and I kept reading till the last page and then I screamed, like I am apparently going to do with all Olivia Starke books, because she leaves it on a note that could open up to so much more! However, 1Nightstands are not meant to be revisited, so you know, in your own brain, that YOU are the one that has to fill in the blanks from that point on. I loved that the lead female was blind. I often wonder why the heroine of romance’s is never inflicted with that challenge to overcome. For Sierra, it is natural, and makes her a stronger woman. Does she have vulnerable moments? Yes, she does, and that makes her very relatable to the reader.

Of course, as in all the Olivia books I have read, there was a twist at the end. I went Awww this time instead of screaming profanity at the book (I am used to her books in The Edge Series), and that was a very welcome change. Olivia has proven to me once more that she is a true author, and that her talents are being executed and shared with the world in the best way!

I am a somewhat newbie to the whole M/M erotic genre. I used to just turned away from anything that had to do with M/M, I read one story awhile back, and I felt that I was reading about a man and woman. That put me off. Although, I know that is the stereo type to most M/M relationships, for some reason it just doesn’t do it for me when I am reading about intimacy with two males. I want masculine, I want fire, I want heat, I want some dirty talk. I want two sweat, hot, delicious pieces of men getting it on for my wicked reading pleasure. But I need story too. For some reason I have this sick need to read a good plot with my smut. Call me an old fashion kind of girl, but I need meat to my reading. Even if I am reading the genre of fiction most people go “Oh, you read THOSE kinds of books.”

Well, I hate to break it to the haters, but this was one of the best books I have read so far this year. Not only did it give me grit, guts, and passion. It left me wanting to rail at some of the characters in the book. I was engulfed, imprisoned in this pseudo reality where punishment for crimes can mean jail time or to become slaves. I have to say, the men might just have it better than the women in this world. Women seem to be, like always, just breeders or sex objects. And although Brooklyn was subjected to sexual slavery, he was a warrior in his own right. Brooklyn is the type of male I hope to read about in a M/M book. He is strong, clever, witty, and yet he holds a key vulnerability that put me on his side the entire time I was reading this book. It was both impressive and intoxicating to read.

Every inch of this story drew me, consumed me, and I had a hard time putting it down to get other tasks done around the house. The story had a smooth plot that didn’t jerk me or jar my reading. In fact, it was like watching a movie in my mind. I could see this on the big screen or sitting in my room watching it late at night. I feel in love with Brooklyn, if I was in that world he would be my hero. I would also want to free him, which to be honest, I don’t think I would fall into the 1% of that time period. The story had some very light BDSM elements that wetted my appetite for a little D/s. I wouldn’t really call this a ‘romance’, for me the plot was so intricate, so well done that it was just a great story to read.

Nathaniel was a character we all fell in love with. He was masculine and sensitive and we all wanted fall into his arms. Even if he didn’t swing towards the ladies, he was a man you wanted to admire, and at the same time you just couldn’t understand some of his actions, which were all sorted out in the end. The villain element was brilliantly executed. Not only did I want to kill them, but I wanted to subject them to the same torment that Brooklyn was after an incident in the book(trying to not spit out spoilers). I have to say, from beginning to end the book was a very satisfying read, and even if you aren’t sure about a M/M read, I would take a chance on this book. Well written, fantastically executed, I recommend this to all readers!

What do you get when you take Leo from the Texas Siren series and Wolf from the Nights in Bliss series and throw them together in one book with sassy, sweet, and submissive Shelley?  A truly awesome book!

This book might just be my all time favorite from any of Ms Oak’s series, so far.  I loved this book.  The past few books I’ve read by Sophie Oak, I really enjoyed but I just didn’t feel a great connection with the story.  She completely made up for it with this one.   We got to learn more about smoking hot, funny, and sweet Wolf and then charming, sexy, but stubborn Leo.  And, as brothers are wont to do, we got to watch them battle it out with each other and with spunky Ms Shelley.  Since the book was based inside The Club, we were able to see and hear about the characters from the previous books.  Julian was back in full form and was so great.  The dash of suspense was perfectly mixed in while not being overwhelming.  I must say that I loved the scene on the 14th floor.

This book kind of works as a stand-alone but I really recommend reading the series.  If you’re in a rush, you need to at least read Siren in Waiting as Leo and Shelley first meet there.  This book does fill in a lot of what happened but you get more of the feelings reading it firsthand.  Plus, I recommend reading the entire series anyway because it’s just a great series.

Looking forward, I’m not sure who I am hoping will be in the next book.  Kitten is a hoot, but I can’t see her carrying a book.  I’m not sure Logan will be ready for his story yet.  Chase and Ben?  Yeah, I’m thinking Chase and Ben.  Twins, anyone?

Master’s Hunt is one of those stories that creeps up on you when you least expect it. Packed full of 3 Dimensional characters that will arouse you, piss you off, make you cry, and make you so excited. It is just one awesome ride that will take you from ultimate submission, to a trip around the world with not knowing what is going to happen next.

This is the first story I have read by Verity Ant. I am a very avid follower of her blog. Her amazing posts on the BDSM lifestyle peaked my interest and I love the honest detail behind each and every blog posting. So naturally, when I saw a new story come out, with a Master with two submissive women, I instantly hit the buy now button on Amazon. I couldn’t wait to get this story started. I was curious and intrigued to see how well it would go. I have to say that I was not disappointed. Verity has a very sneaky way in which she told this story. Not only was it sexy as all get up (I have a soft spot for girl on girl scenes with a powerful man directing all the smexy), but the story took off in a high paced mystery that had me flipping the pages wanting more the entire time! I couldn’t wait to get to the next page, the next. I honestly cared about all the characters in this book.

I knew that Amiko had the ability and independent drive to survive her situation. That didn’t make what happened to her ok for me. She was put through a horrible situation that ripped at my heart strings. For me, Kevin was one of those Doms that was hard to read, but very easy to submit and melt for. I found my knees twitching each time that Renee submit to him. Her submission was so poetic, so beautifully painful that was found that I was squirming in my bed at night while reading this. Then we come to Ross. Um, can we say give me some more of that hotness! He is just one of those men that you know if you get under his whip, you are so screwed and sated all at once. You will be owned, loved, whipped, and humped do damned good you won’t be able to walk, talk, or put together full thought patterns when he is done with you.

Verity, more ROSS PLEASE! I will get on my knees and let you do naughty things to me, for more Ross! As a whole, this was a very satisfying read. Not only are you getting into a sexually relationship, you are seeing the deeper emotional workings of a poly S&m relationship. I was intrigued with the love in this story just as much as the race to find Amiko and bring her home from the crazy woman safe! I would highly recommend that you grab up this book if you like ménage situations, hot Alpha men, and beautifully submissive women!
