Stuck on the side of the road when her bus breaks down, Shawna is approached by a strange man who has noticed the book she’s reading… her BDSM erotic romance. :) Shawna becomes a bit flustered when she realizes the man could have easily walked off one of the pages. When he offers her the chance to fulfill some of her fantasies, she has to decide if she has the courage to take the chance.
I enjoyed reading this story. I liked Shawna. She is very relatable as she reminds me of well, me. I don’t know about you, but I definitely have dreams of a big, sexy Dom stepping off the page and offering to fulfill my fantasies. And stranger fantasies are just hot to begin with. Mark comes across as a hot, take charge Dom who is ready and willing to fulfill Shawna’s needs. He pushes her boundaries just enough to make her a bit uncomfortable but not too far.
This book is very short but very HOT! It feels like dubious consent… but it’s really not as she does have a safe word. The BDSM is on the lighter end of the spectrum but things do get a bit rough now and then. 
Overall, I definitely suggest you check out this book. You’ll have to let me know what you think about it once you’re done. No spoilers, please. I also hear from Ms Sommerland that “The Weekend”, the continuation of “The Trip”, will be out sometime in 2012.
