This book was different than I expected. I haven’t read any of the previous 1NightStand books so I’m not sure what the entire deal is with Madame Eve’s service. I was afraid it might be kind of a prostitution service but in this book, it wasn’t. At only 25 pages, the book is very short but it is loaded. If you are a BDSM fan, with a leaning more toward the discipline side, this book is one to consider.
There was a disconnect for me. I didn’t understand Blake telling Taryn to drop the “Sir” for the time being, but to use it when she believes he wants to hear it. In my experience, one of the things about BDSM is not needing to guess what your Dom wants.
I wanted more of a connection with the characters. The sex scenes while explicit, didn’t get my juices flowing. The BDSM was more gripping than the sex scenes. I enjoyed reading it but probably won’t read it again.
