Review by Gabrielle:
When Maximiliano D’Alesandro’s best friend dies, he assumes the worst. After seeing certain things, he blames Ella for Kirk’s death but we all know looks can be deceiving and Max finds this out for himself. So much was going on right before his eyes that he never saw and now he must decide on the right thing to do. Can he believe Ella is not who he thought she was or will he forever believe it was all her fault and loose his chance at happiness?
I loved Max right from his first appearance in this story. He quickly learns that there is always more than what meets the eye. Max takes what he wants and right now what he wants is Ella. She is a beautiful woman who is hurt and in need, and Max finds himself wanting to be the man to protect her. I enjoyed watching Ella blossom. Seeing her feistiness return with Max’s help was also a nice read. The two make a wonderful couple. Ella learns that she has more than just a curiosity about the lifestyle and finds the perfect place that she has always longed to be in. I really enjoyed watching the bond of trust develop between the two. The attraction is always there but the trust takes time. Ella must learn to trust Max and let him in. Max and Ella must both learn to follow their hearts and not their pain.
This was one hot read that takes you on an emotional ride. I was immersed in the story right from the first page and didn’t put it down until the very last page. The author brings Ella and Max to life brilliantly and their emotions burn up the pages making this a wonderful read that should be in every reader’s library.

Thanks for the lovely review Gabrielle. I’m really pleased you enjoyed it.
