Review by Riane:
Ok, I just want to dance around singing, “The boys are back in town!  The boys are back in town!” However, I don’t want the Masters to think I’m calling them boys or anything so, we’ll leave that song in my head and just say, “The Masters are BACK and better than ever!”

When I finished reading Marcus and Gabi’s story, I immediately tracked down Ms Sinclair and begged her to tell me that we’d find Kim.  I believe her response was a chuckle and a “wait and see.”  *sigh* My mother used to tell me that… I’m not a very patient person.  BUT, the wait was absolutely worth it!

If you haven’t read the background of the Shadowlands series that I posted at the end of October, go do that now.  To Command and Collar brings us to Master Raoul attending a slave sale.  His plan with the FBI is to refuse all the slaves and get himself invited to the big auction.  Sounds like a good plan, until he recognizes that one of the slaves is Kim, the friend Gabi was trying to save during Make Me, Sir.  Now, Raoul has to decide between saving one woman or the chance to save them all… but with the right setup, perhaps he can do both?

This book is slightly different than the rest of the series.  A lot of the others were more “fun”… lots of laughing and excitement, at least for me.  In To Command and Collar, there’s more of an emotional trip.  This is not a bad thing.  I think it’s absolutely awesome.  You can’t have a group of people with different stories and not have the more serious stories.  Plus, I want to see YOU come out of 7 weeks of slavery and not need time to heal.

I could go on and on about this book because I do truly love it.  I’m thinking this book might actually take my #1 spot so far for the series… don’t tell the other Masters please!!  But everyone has holidays time coming up, reading this book would be an awesome way to spend it.  And if you, like me, are still waiting for Sam, and Sally, and Buchanan and Kouros… well, feel free to contact Cherise Sinclair through her website. **runs and hides *
