Halloween is coming up in a few days, as I’m sure you are all aware. So I went on the hunt for some Halloween stories. I don’t know about you but one of my favorite places to find themed stories is on Ellora’s Cave. There I found a series called Tricks and Treats. Sounds like fun? Well, keep reading for one of the stories from the series.
Ash wishes to become Wizard Kardos’ apprentice, but the law says that women are not allowed to study magic. In order to circumvent that law, Ash binds her breasts, dresses herself as a boy, and convinces Kardos to train her. Over the time of her training, she has fallen in love with the Wizard. At a Halloween masquerade ball, she sees her chance to seduce him as a woman before explaining her deception. Can she seduce her master? Will she turn and run when she learns that he’s into the darker side of sex? Will it even matter once she tells him that she is really the apprentice he has taught for a year?
I so enjoyed this book. It was fun and sexy. I loved the play of magic with the BDSM. Ash is so determined to play both roles so Kardos will never realize that she’s the same person until she tells him. Sometimes it becomes a bit funny reading about her running back and forth. I kept waiting for her to forget to change her hair, or her shoes or something that would overlap between her boy persona and being herself.
The sex scenes in this book were quite good. I can’t say they were the most in depth scenes that I’ve ever read but we’re talking a “Quickie” story, so there wasn’t a lot of room for much. What was there was very good.
I definitely enjoyed this book and will probably keep it around to read. Perhaps I’ll re-read it next Halloween just for fun. While I’m waiting, I’m going to check out some of Ms Ayre’s other stories.

Thank you for this review and shout out for the book. Had never seen this. Just bought it based on your recommendation. Thanks.
You’ll have to let me know what you think of it!!
