This was the first book in the Awakening series by Michele Zurlo. This is a story about Sabrina, who needs to be married before the age of 30, and Jonas who works for the same company as Sabrina working through his own issues. Sabrina and Jonas have never spoken to each other before she proposed to him. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Jonas and Sabrina evolved from strangers to husband and wife. Sabrina was in many aspects naïve especially with most activities in the bedroom. This story makes you want to believe in love at first sight. Read more [...]

When I give a list of my all time favorite books, one of them that is always high on the list is The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton, and Cardinal's Rule just blew me away. Then there was Domme by Default and Safe Harbor which were awesome. So, when I heard that Tymber was writing Tony's story. I was extremely excited and jumped at the chance to read and review the book.
This was that feel good type of read where the girl who was never pretty enough, skinny enough, or popular enough captures the attention of two sexy droolicious guys at a BDSM club. There’s no serial killer or stalker looking to abduct, rape, or abuse the heroine storyline, but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t any less terrific. Characters from previous books in the series do make cameo appearances but otherwise this is strictly a read that features Sasha, Peyton, and Gavin. And that’s a good thing.
*Taps fingers* How to write this review? Let me start by saying that the kinks explored in this book are extreme and not for all readers. In fact, I’m not even comfortable with everything in this book. That being said, Candice has a way of writing a story so engaging that you can’t help but keep reading. This book was no different. I fell in love with the hero from the start. I was really in the moment at all times with this story and felt like I was fighting for this relationship right along with the characters.
This story My Body – His by Blakely Bennett is the first book in a trilogy with these characters. Jane is successful at work but not in her personal life. Jane is swept away by Luke. Luke is an artist and photographer.
This is only the second book I have read by Annabel Joseph. The first book, a lot of people had raved about, I found it to be ok. So when a friend recommended this one I was not sure what to expect. What I found surprised me.
Let me just say that this isn’t your mother’s Harlequin, and thank goodness! I have been eagerly awaiting this third installment of the Original Sinners series and I was not disappointed. If you’ve grown to love these characters and this story, The Prince will only suck you in deeper…and make you want to chain Miss Reisz to the computer and give us the next book!
This book is another hard one to review. I will say that I was interested in the premise from the very beginning. Being a new author, I was curious how Jenna Jacob wove the story of Emerald and her dream Dom and if she could do it in such a way as to make it believable. What I found was a bit of a mix.
It's Ben and Chase! I have been waiting for Ben and Chase's story since we first met them! As soon as I got this book, I started reading... and couldn't stop. I loved this story. I think this is possibly the best story by Sophie Oak so far and that's saying a lot. Siren Unleashed is not only hot and sexy, it's emotionally seductive in a way that binds you up in the characters and doesn't let you go until the story is done.
Although some aspects of Michele Zurlo's Wanting Wilder won't resonate with all readers, it is a well-written BDSM-themed book with a fully developed plot complete with conflict and resolution, complex characters, and lots of kinky sex. Whether or not an individual reader will find it to be a totally enjoyable read will depend largely on their tastes in literary style. This book leans heavily on the internal angst of the main characters star-crossed lovers that were separated for a number of years with each mistakenly assuming the other had abruptly ended their budding romance. Whereas this situation is the vehicle for the plot to advance and leads to interesting BDSM scenarios, both present day and in flashback, it can become tiresome if you don't have an affinity for that sort of drama.
ER nurse Lucy and firefighter Tom interact a lot at work. They also have a lot of mutual friends. Plus, they are highly attracted to each other. So... why haven't they gone out on a date? A darn good question that I think their friends want to know, too.
"Nobody's Perfect" was everything I could imagine coming from the Masters at Arms series. The story line between Damian and Savannah was heart-breaking and and heart-warming all at the same time. Damian and Savannah saved each other when they were teenagers and thought they would never see each other again. Fate brings them back together in a big way and Damian tries to do everything that he can to help save Savannah mentally and physically from her past.
You guys may remember my review of One Dom at a Time earlier this week. I believe I said that I would read the rest of the series but avoid any scenes with Damian, correct? Well, Ms Roberts also read that and with a laugh, asked if I would give her one more chance to see if Damian could change my mind. You see, Domination in Pink is a continuation of their story. So, I accepted the challenge.
OK, a divorced heroine who has panic attacks packs up her life and moves to Colorado for a fresh start. Her awesomely hot bisexual bosses introduce her to another awesomely hot bisexual couple. Sparks fly and ... well, you have to read to find out more.
I'm a sucker for a BDSM club setting book so this one jumped out at me from the start. This stand alone installment of the "Master of Submission" series features a well respected & feared female CEO with a sub nature searching for her Dom. Of course the premise is she was looking for a safe place to find anonymous hook ups but be real, this is an erotic romance book and we all know there has to be a HEA ending. I liked the match up with these two. Alpha man personality who watched, observed, and used every tool in his arsenal including the club's dungeon theme room to pleasure his sub. The play action isn't too extreme as Kelly was an entry level participant in the BDSM lifestyle and it wouldn't have made sense to include edge play or canes at that point. I would have liked to have seen more bratty behavior and snarky dialogue between the two which would have enhanced the chemistry and sexual tension between the two but felt the heat factor between them sizzled regardless.
