Throughout the previous “Masters & Mercenaries” series divorced couple Alex & Eve have had a love/hate relationship because of some mysterious past. In this book we finally find out what the story is and why Eve refuses to consider any sort of reconciliation.
This has been the most anticipated installment in the series for me. Alex and Eve are divorced but still partner up for selected BDSM scenes although Eve has restricted Alex with many hard limits when they do. Drove me absolutely crazy wondering what could have happened that, while divorced, they still have this sort of relationship and why Alex is so darn jealous of anyone who may show an interest in his ex-wife. Either they needed to work this out or one of them needed to leave as this was a very unhealthy situation both professionally and personally. Read more [...]

Within the realm of BDSM erotic literature there are a significant number of books that should be classified as BDSM-lite. These books generally are the equivalent of softcore porn movies - sort of titillating but mostly genteel. Helena Harker's Master's Submission is a perfect example of this phenomenon.
Lucia Roa, event party planner, is trying to build up her business when she gets word about a secretive Valentine’s Day party that is being planned for the elite of Washington DC’s rich and famous. She prides herself on being able to plan any type of party, for any type of crowd. Finding out the party is being hosted at a BDSM club might be challenging, but it's not insurmountable.

Amy Easton's idea for the perfect Thanksgiving doesn't include giving up the last can of cranberry sauce to a stranger, no matter how sexy he is. She will make this holiday special for Dad even if it kills her. And that means getting everything on the shopping list.

Gina is a submissive for rent in an exclusive BDSM group. Well, technically, she’s earned the honorary title of slave, for being such an obedient bitch. As a sub for hire, Gina loves putting herself at the mercy of paying sadists. The problem? Being a submissive also pisses her off…a lot.
Coming Together: With a Twist is a collection of BDSM erotica & erotic romance from various Coming Together publications.
This story is about Megan who is a erotic romance writer that wants to enter a sub/dom relationship, and Greg who is a disorganized artist except for in the playroom where he becomes a typical dom.
Bound by Cherie De Sues is about Elysa who is the latest person to cache the attention of a serial rapist. Marcus, Elysa’s lover long ago, is the Agent investigating the case. This story sounded like a fabulous story from the synopsis, but not everything is as it sounds. I found that there was no spark in the story that keeps you wanting to know more. The characters came across as flat and lifeless. There was no “life” to the story either. The story had great potential. To me this felt like someone wrote an outline and they were going to stick with it.
Rayna Stone is a relatively new published author. I reviewed her first book, Full Measure last month and thought it was good, even if there were a few issues. When Safe Haven came out, I was warned that it wasn't a menage... but I really wanted Kelly's story so I was excited. Now that I've finished the book, I'm slightly stunned.
I hadn't read a book by Michelle Zurlo before, but had heard good things about her books, so I was looking forward to reading this one. I will say that it did not disappoint. This book is kind of short at just under 30k words, but it's packed with some steamy fun.
Brothers Talib, Kadir, & Rafiq have been on the hunt for a girl, who they can agree on, to marry and feel they've finally found her in Piper Glen, an employee of the Black Oak Oil Co. In the age old tradition of their ancestors, they are required to kidnap their chosen and keep her for thirty days, at which point she must make a decision to become their wife, or reject them and end the relationship. Getting Piper to Bezakistan is easy, it's keeping her that will the problem. Especially when a series of events threaten the safety of Piper from enemies who would see the 'al Mussad' family brought to their knees and banished from the country of their birth.
This is a sensual paranormal erotica tale with a fantasy fairy tale feel. Were-tiger hero battles for the heart of his human love interest overcoming the obstacles that would tear them apart to ultimately triumph with a HEA ending. Sweet and romantic it has a feel good quality with a little kick of spice that will appeal to readers who love a tame erotica read.
Joey W Hill is a name you hear all over the place when it comes to Erotic Romance books, right? Well I have a confession to make. This is the first book I've read by Ms Hill. At the beginning, I was ready to reach through the book and throttle Mr Matthew Kensington. I mean seriously. I wanted her to tear him a new one. There was some doubt as to if they would get out of this without a rape charge, and you guys know that I love a man taking charge and pushing limits. However, this was definitely pushing it for me.
Cooper McKenzie posted on her facebook about this new author out there doing BDSM erotic romance. Well, as I love Cooper, I had to check out the new author. Oh, I am so glad I did! Initiation is your standard boy meets girl, boy introduces girl to BDSM, boy and girl fall in love. That’s good right? Yes. The fact that the heroine is an older woman? That’s just icing on the cake. The boy wears a kilt and speaks some Scottish Gaelic? Oh, that’s the cherry.
What is it with me and books that give me mixed feelings?? This is another one. I liked this book... mostly. There were a lot of good scenes and good sections. I enjoyed the characters and overall enjoyed the storyline. I got tied up in it and laughed and even cried a couple of times. Which is all great and the signs of a good story. However, there were also some major issues.
