In the first Bliss book, Three to Ride, we met Logan Green. He was young, innocent, and scared of anyone telling his Moms when he did something they wouldn't like. Then, in the third book, One to Keep, terror came to Bliss, Logan got caught up in the web and came out broken and angry at the world. Over the next several books, it became more and more obvious that Logan would need serious help. He went to Dallas to get some unconventional help from our favorite Dom and psychiatrist Leo. He appeared in a couple of Siren books and it was looking like he may stay there, or he may leave the series all together. FINALLY!!! Anyone who has read Sophie Oak's Bliss series know Nell and Henry quite well. Anywhere there's an injustice, they will be protesting. However, many times there have been some odd happenings around Bliss (ok, stop the laughing) and Henry "helps" in ways that seem a bit unusual for the couple we all know and love. Now, we finally find out how they met and the history that explains how Henry knows certain things that a peace loving protester shouldn't know.
It's Ben and Chase! I have been waiting for Ben and Chase's story since we first met them! As soon as I got this book, I started reading... and couldn't stop. I loved this story. I think this is possibly the best story by Sophie Oak so far and that's saying a lot. Siren Unleashed is not only hot and sexy, it's emotionally seductive in a way that binds you up in the characters and doesn't let you go until the story is done.
It's no wonder the sheriff of Bliss, Colorado can't hire a new secretary with a job description that includes dealing with daily reports of alien and sasquatch sightings and citizens who are proud of their highest murder-per-capita in the state ranking. He uses an unusual hiring technique when he offers Gemma Wells, disgraced attorney now waitress at Stella's Restaurant, the choice of a hefty fine with jail time or agree to fill the office manager position in his department.
Since mid-2011 when I read Bound for the first time, I have been waiting for the war that would put Cian and Beckett back on their rightful thrones, but preparations needed to be made, armies needed to be built, and relationships needed to be solidified. I must say that Beauty made the waiting all worth it.
