This was that feel good type of read where the girl who was never pretty enough, skinny enough, or popular enough captures the attention of two sexy droolicious guys at a BDSM club. There’s no serial killer or stalker looking to abduct, rape, or abuse the heroine storyline, but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t any less terrific. Characters from previous books in the series do make cameo appearances but otherwise this is strictly a read that features Sasha, Peyton, and Gavin. And that’s a good thing. Read more [...]

*Taps fingers* How to write this review? Let me start by saying that the kinks explored in this book are extreme and not for all readers. In fact, I’m not even comfortable with everything in this book. That being said, Candice has a way of writing a story so engaging that you can’t help but keep reading. This book was no different. I fell in love with the hero from the start. I was really in the moment at all times with this story and felt like I was fighting for this relationship right along with the characters.
Jordan "Ink" Fielding is an alpha Dom and co-owner of Club Ink, a BDSM club that caters to the paranormal crowd. Known for his hard-core BDSM play and uncanny way of getting into his sub's minds, Ink is as respected and desired as he is feared. Seeing his twin brother happy with his new wife and expecting their first child has Ink deciding that it's long past time for him to claim his own mate who's been refusing him for years.
It's Ben and Chase! I have been waiting for Ben and Chase's story since we first met them! As soon as I got this book, I started reading... and couldn't stop. I loved this story. I think this is possibly the best story by Sophie Oak so far and that's saying a lot. Siren Unleashed is not only hot and sexy, it's emotionally seductive in a way that binds you up in the characters and doesn't let you go until the story is done.
I am already a big fan of this series but this book just blew me away. I was not prepared for the depth of my feelings for the three characters that this book revolves around and the many glimpses that we get to see of the secondary characters many of whom surprise you with their thoughts and actions.
Rayna Stone is a relatively new published author. I reviewed her first book, Full Measure last month and thought it was good, even if there were a few issues. When Safe Haven came out, I was warned that it wasn't a menage... but I really wanted Kelly's story so I was excited. Now that I've finished the book, I'm slightly stunned.
Anyone looking at Melody, drop-dead gorgeous promiscuous party girl, would never believe she had once lived the life of a frumpy boring librarian. Now a sex demon, she is assigned to collect souls for her demon boss or risk spending eternity in the 'Lake of Fire.' With a fast approaching deadline she decides to go to 'The Dungeon,' a popular BDSM club where she can get the five souls needed to reach her quota. Things look good until the owner Drake, a master Dom, catches sight of her and promptly claims her as his own personal sub. Melody needs to decide if spending one perfect night with Drake is worth facing eternity in the lake of fire when her demon boss finds out she failed her assignment.
"Nobody's Perfect" was everything I could imagine coming from the Masters at Arms series. The story line between Damian and Savannah was heart-breaking and and heart-warming all at the same time. Damian and Savannah saved each other when they were teenagers and thought they would never see each other again. Fate brings them back together in a big way and Damian tries to do everything that he can to help save Savannah mentally and physically from her past.
The Publisher's Proposal is a relatively short novella with a lesbian BDSM theme that focuses on the relationships of an erotica editor, her publisher, and her best selling author, whom the editor has helped attain authenticity in her writing by personally training her in the finer points of BDSM. While reading it, at one point I remember thinking that this book contains some of the best writing in this genre that I have read in awhile in terms of creative premise, interesting characters, and snappy dialogue. Indeed, I still think that, but as for being a satisfying erotic BDSM read, it fell somewhat short.
You know how it is when you find a book that you absolutely LOVE and it just touches something inside of you so strongly you want to tell everyone about it. Especially, your friend who you talk books with all the time, but you know it's not her style of book. That's my issue right now. So, instead of telling her, I'll tell you. This is one book you MUST read.
I hadn't read a book by Michelle Zurlo before, but had heard good things about her books, so I was looking forward to reading this one. I will say that it did not disappoint. This book is kind of short at just under 30k words, but it's packed with some steamy fun.
OK, a divorced heroine who has panic attacks packs up her life and moves to Colorado for a fresh start. Her awesomely hot bisexual bosses introduce her to another awesomely hot bisexual couple. Sparks fly and ... well, you have to read to find out more.
Brothers Talib, Kadir, & Rafiq have been on the hunt for a girl, who they can agree on, to marry and feel they've finally found her in Piper Glen, an employee of the Black Oak Oil Co. In the age old tradition of their ancestors, they are required to kidnap their chosen and keep her for thirty days, at which point she must make a decision to become their wife, or reject them and end the relationship. Getting Piper to Bezakistan is easy, it's keeping her that will the problem. Especially when a series of events threaten the safety of Piper from enemies who would see the 'al Mussad' family brought to their knees and banished from the country of their birth.
Joey W Hill is a name you hear all over the place when it comes to Erotic Romance books, right? Well I have a confession to make. This is the first book I've read by Ms Hill. At the beginning, I was ready to reach through the book and throttle Mr Matthew Kensington. I mean seriously. I wanted her to tear him a new one. There was some doubt as to if they would get out of this without a rape charge, and you guys know that I love a man taking charge and pushing limits. However, this was definitely pushing it for me.
I don't know about you, but I love the Doms of Dark Haven series. They've always been in anthology form, until now. Master Xavier caught my attention when he appeared in the first book, all dark, mysterious, and dominant, I immediately wanted to know more. I was thrilled when I learned that his story was being written and by the amazing Cherise Sinclair!
