Tess has had an interest in BDSM for years. She is trying to match the fact that she believes she is submissive while being a feisty, passionate woman who keeps iron control on her daily life. She joins a website to learn more and meet people.  Then an email appears in her inbox and begins an experience she never expected.

I feel this review should start with a warning.  Fiction books are fantasy, not real life.  To keep readers attention, authors have to keep things moving quickly.  In order to do this, many times relationships move much faster than they ever should in real life.  If you are reading this and thinking about trying a similar situation, please be careful.

If you can remember that, this story is very good. I did have to wrap my head around the fact that it was considered almost a good thing that within a few days of chatting, the guy had sourced out her name and phone number, then calling to surprise her.  He then surprises her one day in the parking lot by trapping her against the car.  In real life, this is dangerous stalking. In the book, it’s pushing the line and sexy.

We never learn the name of the mystery man.  There is very little background to the characters.  No interaction between the characters other than emails, him surprising her twice, and then scenes. The book is mainly 3 interactions with him, each one pushing her comfort zone a little further. The book is a sexy, easy read. The scenes keep moving quickly and held my attention. I enjoyed the book, but did have to consistently suspend my disbelief about an apparently smart woman being so unconcerned with her own safety.
